A little about me:  I fell in love with Davis when I went to UC Davis (I drove those double decker buses!).  I continued my education, while working as a pediatric office nurse for Davis Pediatrics, at National University pursuing a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. I honed my people skills while working as a Social Worker with Child Protective Services as a Court Investigator.  After the birth of my children, I opened a very popular home nursery school.  All the while, I was training  in the Mediation-Conflict Resolution field with City of Davis Community Mediation Services and as a Yolo County  Court Panelist.  Presently, I am a professor at Sacramento City College teaching Family and Marriage and Human Development: Lifespan.  I also have extensive knowledge in life skills for exceptional children. Team Parenting is not therapy or mediation..it is more like a parenting class that teaches both parents to communicate more effectively in the child's best interest.  Conflict and tension are removed and replaced with techniques that work. Individualized plans are tailored to ensure positive parenting and a plan that works for you.  As a parent you will feel heard and will not dread contact with the other parent.  A child will see two parents who love him or her and can parent as a team resulting in a well adjusted, happy child.
